NOVELTY - A composite material comprises magnesium alloy matrix and cladding layer. The magnesium alloy matrix comprises 3.0-8.4 wt.% aluminum, 1.0-3.2 wt.% zinc, 0.5-1.7 wt.% manganese, 0.1-1.7 wt.% rhenium, 0.3-2.1 wt.% tungsten, 0.1-1.4 wt.% lanthanum, 0.5-3.6 wt.% silicon, balance magnesium and unavoidable impurities. The cladding layer is formed on the surface of magnesium alloy matrix through laser cladding. The cladding layer comprises 8.0-22.5 wt.% aluminum, 4.2-12.6 wt.% iron, 7.4-21.0 wt.% magnesium, 2.1-6.5 wt.% copper, 3.8-8.2 wt.% tantalum carbide, 1.3-4.7 wt.% graphene, balance nickel and unavoidable impurities. USE - Composite material for high-temperature-resistant hub used in automobile hub (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material is formed into reinforced coating in the magnesium alloy matrix through laser cladding, and is capable of obtaining composite material with high mechanical strength and high temperature resistance.
