NOVELTY - Preparing self-limiting temperature electrothermal film, comprises (i) pre-treating polypropylene, ethylene vinyl acetate, high density polyethylene resin pellets, conductive filler, antioxidant, nano zinc oxide, polyethylene wax, and zinc stearate, (ii) mixing pretreated polypropylene, ethylene vinyl acetate, high density polyethylene resin pellets with conductive fillers, antioxidants, nano-zinc oxide, polyethylene wax, and zinc stearate evenly, then banburying until the materials are fluid, and set aside, (iii) extruding and granulating the flowable material to obtain film-making masterbatch having particle size of 1.5-2.5 mm, drying, and setting aside, (iv) extruding film-making masterbatch under a melting environment of 125-160 ℃ to obtain molten material, making molten material flowing out of the extrusion die into semi-finished film by film-making process, and (v) processing semifinished film material by irradiation cross-linking process to obtain final product. USE - The method is useful for preparing self-limiting temperature electrothermal film. ADVANTAGE - The film has resistance of larger, and heating power decreases rapidly; heating temperature of the electrothermal film is limited to 85 ℃, and it has relatively long-lasting self-limiting temperature effect and excellent self-limiting temperature stability.
