NOVELTY - An electrically actuated thin film material comprises graphene oxide/carbon nanotube films, where the electrically actuated thin film material has thickness of 2-50 mu m. USE - Electrically actuated thin film material for use in flexible electric actuator, mechanical arm and artificial muscle (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrically actuated thin film material is prepared in a simple and rapid manner at large scale level and has rapid, better and stable electrodeformation properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing an electrically actuated thin film material, which involves mixing carbon nanotubes and surfactant with water, processing to obtain carbon nanotube suspension, vacuum filtering to obtain carbon nanotube film, dissolving graphite oxide in water, processing to obtain graphene oxide sol, applying graphene oxide sol onto carbon nanotube film, drying, repeating graphene oxide sol application step and drying.
