NOVELTY - Preparing thin layers of graphene involves stirring 0.05-1g graphite with 0.1-1.5g ammonium sulfate and 1-10mL concentrated sulfuric acid in a beaker for 50 minutes and then adding the stirred material with 1-5mL hydrogen peroxide solution. The obtained material is kept for 2-24 hours and washed with water and then the washed material is filtered and dried at 60 degrees C for 8 hours. The dried material is stirred with 0.05-3g oxidizing agent and 1-10mL concentrated sulfuric acid in beaker for 30-180 minutes. The stirred material is washed with distilled water and diluted hydrochloric acid. USE - Method for preparing thin layers of graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare thin layers of graphene in simple manner, and with high production efficiency and short reaction time. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing thin layers of graphene involves stirring 0.05-1g graphite with 0.1-1.5g ammonium sulfate and 1-10mL concentrated sulfuric acid in a beaker for 50 minutes and then adding the stirred material with 1-5mL hydrogen peroxide solution. The stirred material is washed with distilled water and diluted hydrochloric acid and then the washed material is centrifuged for 5 minutes. The centrifuged material is added with distilled water and 1-5mL plugging agent and then the obtained material is subjected to ultrasonic treatment for 0.5-5 hours. The treated material is washed with ethyl alcohol and then the washed material is added with 0.1-5mL reducing agent. The obtained material is stirred at 70-100 degrees C for 1-5 hours and then the stirred material is cooled to room temperature. The cooled material is washed with 40mL deionized water and 40mL ethanol and then the washed material is dried for 8-24 hours to obtain the desired product.
