NOVELTY - A thermoplastic glucomannan/graphene oxide composite material comprises (in parts weight) thermoplastic glucomannan (1-99), oxidized graphene (0.00l-2), crosslinking agent (0-10) and plasticizer (0-10). USE - Thermoplastic glucomannan/graphene oxide composite material is used in chemical industry, medical field and airport construction. ADVANTAGE - The thermoplastic glucomannan/graphene oxide composite material has excellent performance, adsorptivity, thermal stability and mechanical toughness, and is biodegradable and environmentally-friendly, and can be regenerated. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of thermoplastic glucomannan/graphene oxide composite material. Thermoplastic glucomannan (in parts weight) (1-99), oxidized graphene (0.00l-2), crosslinking agent (0-10) and plasticizer (0-10)are mixed and dried. The resulted mixture is added into ethanol or aqueous solution of graphene oxide, mechanically stirred for 5-10 hours, to mix uniformly, filtered, the solid is dried at 80-110 degrees C for 1-3 hours, obtain dried mixture. Ethanol or aqueous solution of graphene oxide (0.01-20 g/L) is prepared by dissolving graphene oxide in ethanol or water and modifying by ultrasonic treatment for 1-5 inches for 300-1000 W in ultrasonic device. The dried mixture is blended with crosslinking agent and plasticizer, stirred uniformly in a mixer at 20-60 degrees C for 5-30 minutes, dried for 8-12 hours, to blend the dried mixture. The blend is put into a double screw extruder, extruded at 100-140 degrees C for 5-15 hours at 0.1-1 MPa and palletized, to obtain thermoplastic glucomannan/graphene oxide composite material.
