NOVELTY - Preparing carbon-silica composite material comprises (i) adding stearic acid coupling agent to porous carbon powder, heating and stirring uniformly, dripping graphene grinding solution, drying and roasting to obtain porous carbon substrate modified by oxidation graphene, (ii) introducing silicon precursor into porous carbon matrix, slowly dripping alcohol ammonia solution in situ hydrolysis, aging, drying, roasting treatment to obtain intermediate carbon material loaded with silicon precursor, and (iii) mixing intermediate carbon materials prepared with metal magnesium powder uniformly, performing heat treatment under the protection of inert atmosphere, cooling to room temperature, sequentially washing, water washing and drying treatment. USE - Preparation method of carbon-silicon composite material used for lithium cathode of lithium ion battery. Can also be used in electric vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare carbon-silicon composite material that has good cycle stability, and is easy to obtain raw material non-toxic, low cost, simple technique, no special device, easy mass production, and has advantage in economical efficiency and practicability.
