NOVELTY - A fan blade with an electrothermal deicing mechanism, comprises a blade body having outer end which is a tip, and a conductive layer arranged on the surface of blade body. The conductive layer(s) at the corresponding position of the tip, comprises conjugated polymer material, and the other conductive layers on the surface of the blade body, comprise materials having higher conductivity than the conjugated polymer material. The conductive layer is electrically connected to an electric heating device comprising overcurrent protection devices. USE - As fan blade with electro-thermal deicing mechanism. ADVANTAGE - The fan blade with electrothermal deicing mechanism, enables to integrate the surface heating structure with the lightning protection structure, to provide enhanced lightning protection effect.
