NOVELTY - The depolarizer has a focusing unit i.e. lens, for focusing a laser. A polarization adjustment unit is fixed with the focusing unit, where the polarization adjustment unit adjusts polarization of the laser. The polarization adjustment unit is fixed with a graphene-grown garnet film. Distance between the polarization adjusting unit and the focusing unit is 10-130 cm. Distance between the polarization adjustment unit and the focusing unit is adjusted by a motor. USE - Graphene-based passive depolarizer for adjusting laser polarization. ADVANTAGE - The depolarizer is inexpensive and easy to operate, and utilizes the polarization adjustment unit for realizing laser polarization with better adaptability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing a graphene-based passive depolarizer.
