NOVELTY - Conductive polypropylene powder, comprises 100 pts. wt. polypropylene, 10-50 pts. wt. elastomer, 10-100 pts. wt. conductive agent, 1-10 pts. wt. dye black, 0.1-3 pts. wt. antioxidant, 0.1-10 pts. wt. compatibilizer, 0.1-10 pts. wt. flow auxiliary agent and 0.1-7 pts. wt. other auxiliary agent. USE - The conductive polypropylene powder is useful for selective laser sintering (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The conductive polypropylene powder: has narrow particle size distribution, high sphericity, good fluidity, no warping deformation after selective laser printing, high absorption rate of laser energy, less porosity in the section of the workpiece, and greatly enhanced electrical conductivity; utilizes compatibilizer, which can improve the compatibility between the conductive agent, dye black and polypropylene and thus the conductive agent, dye black and polypropylene, which can be very tightly bonded together after laser sintering; has better play their respective roles; ensures that the parts are compact, mechanical properties and electrical conductivity enhanced. The method: has simple in process; can realize effective preparation and full mixing of powder; has low requirements on process conditions and equipment conditions; and can realize large-scale popularized production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparing conductive polypropylene powder comprising (a) adding polypropylene, elastomer and compatibilizer into a high-speed mixer, then adding conductive agent, antioxidant and other auxiliary agent, stirring evenly, adding it into the twin-screw feeding bin, using twin-screw extrusion to melt and mix evenly, and then granulating and drying, (b) cooling the plastic particles obtained in step (a) with liquid nitrogen and then pulverizing at low temperature to obtain plastic powder, (c) adding the dye black into the high-speed mixer, then adding the plastic powder and flow auxiliary agent obtained in step (b), and stirring evenly again to obtain final product.
