NOVELTY - High-efficiency flame-retardant and smoke-inhibiting polyurethane flexible foam coating comprises 20-55 wt.% flame retardant, 1-10 wt.% polymer flocculating agent and 5-20 wt.% resin. The coating is coated on the surface of the foam matrix. The mass increase (%) is (W2-W1)/W1×100%, W1 is the quality of pure foam matrix and W2 is the mass of foam matrix after coating corresponding components. USE - Used as high-efficiency flame-retardant and smoke-inhibiting polyurethane flexible foam coating. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, has controllable loading capacity, and no complex and expensive instruments and device are required in the construction process, so the large-scale cost is low, and has prospect of industrial application and promotion. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for constructing the foam coating, comprising (1) dispersing polymer flocculating agent in aqueous solution and preparing polymer flocculating agent solution with a concentration of 0.1-2 wt.%, dispersing flame retardant in aqueous solution and preparing flame retardant solution with a concentration of 0.5-5 wt.%, and dissolving the resin in solvent and preparing resin solution with a concentration of 1-10 wt.%, and (2) coating prepared flame retardant solution, polymer flocculating agent solution and resin solution on the surface of the foam matrix, where the coating method is dipping, dripping, brushing or spraying.
