▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Pretreating catalyst for synthesis of cyclic carbonate, comprises placing metal oxide-based catalyst in a tube furnace, performing first pretreatment of the catalyst in a nitrogen or argon atmosphere; then, performing second pretreatment of catalyst under carbon dioxide-containing mixed gas. USE - The pretreated catalyst is useful for synthesis of cyclic carbonate by cycloaddition reaction of carbon dioxide and epoxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: realizes the synergistic activation of epoxide and carbon dioxide by pretreating the metal oxide-based catalyst to adjust the catalyst structure and surface acidity and alkalinity, and improves the yield of cyclic carbonate; adopts an off-line solution to pretreat the catalyst, which can significantly reduce the cost of cycloaddition reaction equipment and improve process economy. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for use of catalyst for synthesis of cyclic carbonate by cycloaddition reaction of carbon dioxide and epoxide, comprising pretreating metal oxide-based catalyst by above method, cooling the pre-treated catalyst to room temperature under the protection of the carbon dioxide-containing mixed ga, loading into a fixed bed reactor, introducing epoxide and carbon dioxide and carry out cycloaddition reaction to prepare cyclic carbonate, where controlling reaction pressure at 4-8 MPa, temperature at 100-180degrees Celsius, epoxide liquid air LHSV = 0.1-1/hour, carbon dioxide space velocity GHSV = 500-1000 ml/gcat/hour.
