NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene-coated lithium ion battery anode material involves mixing catalyst, lithium battery anode material powder and dispersing agent, ball milling to obtain precursor, drying precursor, placing obtained powder mixture in a reactor, placing the reactor in a furnace, evacuating the reactor using a vacuum pump, supplying an inert carrier gas, repeating the above process, raising temperature of the furnace, adding carbon source, supplying inert carrier gas, reacting for predetermined time, closing temperature control device and cooling. USE - Preparation of graphene-coated material used for anode of lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene-coated anode material having high electroconductivity and excellent coating property. The lithium ion battery using the anode material has excellent cycle characteristics. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene-coated lithium ion battery anode material involves mixing catalyst, lithium battery anode material powder and dispersing agent, adding ball-milling medium, carrying out ball milling for 1-5 hours at a rate of 100-300 rpm in a ball mill to obtain precursor, drying the precursor in an oven at 50-100 degrees C, placing the obtained powder mixture in a reactor, placing the reactor in a furnace, evacuating the reactor using a vacuum pump, supplying an inert carrier gas, repeating the above process, raising temperature of the furnace to a predetermined temperature, adding carbon source, supplying inert carrier gas into the reactor, reacting for predetermined time, closing temperature control device and cooling.
