NOVELTY - An antirust grease comprises Vaseline (RTM: petroleum jelly), rosin, stearic acid, zinc oxide, graphene, nanoclay, No. 120 solvent oil, No. 68 lubricant, sorbitan monooleate, calcium petroleum sulfonate, and protective agent. The protective agent comprises precipitated calcium carbonate, silica powder, ultrafine magnesium hydroxide, linseed oil, glycerol, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, methacrylate, triallyl isocyanurate cross-linking agent, polyester emulsion, dodecanol ester, terpineol, and maleic anhydride. USE - Antirust grease is used for preventing rusting of metal surfaces. ADVANTAGE - The antirust grease has excellent adsorption effect with respect to free radicals (by adding graphene and nanoclay) and antioxidant effect, high shelf life and quality, and forms film on metal surface to prevent rusting of metal surface when exposed to oxygen and water. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An antirust grease comprises 50-58 pts. wt. Vaseline (RTM: petroleum jelly), 3-4 pts. wt. rosin, 5-7 pts. wt. stearic acid, 2-3 pts. wt. zinc oxide, 2-3 pts. wt. graphene, 2-4 nanoclay, 10-12 pts. wt. No. 120 solvent oil, 12-14 pts. wt. No. 68 lubricant, 1.5-2 pts. wt. sorbitan monooleate, 6-8 pts. wt. calcium petroleum sulfonate, and 2.5-4 pts. wt. protective agent. 3-5 Pts. wt. precipitated calcium carbonate, 1.6-2 pts. wt. silica powder and 2-3 pts. wt. ultrafine magnesium hydroxide are added to mixture of 2-3 pts. wt. linseed oil and 5-7 pts. wt. glycerol and agitated for 60-80 minutes, to obtain a dispersion. 9-12 Pts. wt. ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, 7-10 pts. wt. methacrylate and 1-2 pts. wt. triallyl isocyanurate cross-linking agent are mixed, heated to 90-105 degrees C for 2-3 hours, and cooled to 50-60 degrees C. Then, 12-14 pts. wt. polyester emulsion, 2-3 pts. wt. dodecanol ester, 1.5-2.5 pts. wt. terpineol and 3-5.5 pts. wt. maleic anhydride are added, stirred at speed of 400-500 rpm for 30-40 minutes, and cooled to room temperature. The obtained mixture is added to the dispersion, and stirred to obtain protective agent. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of antirust grease.
