NOVELTY - Graphene-compound electrode material comprises a three-layer composite sheet structure of two layers of upper and lower silicon oxide compounds and a sandwiched graphene layer, where the silicon oxide compound is (SiOx), and the content of the graphene is 1-20 wt.%, where x is 0.1-1.9. USE - The electrode material is useful lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrode material capacity of 400-2000 mAh/g and cycle life of 500-2000 times when it is as a cathode material of lithium ion battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing graphene-compound electrode material, comprising (i) dispersing graphene oxide or graphene in solvent, then adding silicone compound, hydrolyzing to obtain sandwich structured oxide graphene or graphene-silicon dioxide nano-sheet, then drying and collecting product, and (ii) reducing at silicon dioxide in obtained graphene oxide or graphene-silica nano-sheet under reducing atmosphere at high temperature to obtain final product.
