NOVELTY - The preparation method of multielement co-doped graphene involves weighing graphite powder and sodium nitrate and evenly mixing, then adding concentrated sulfuric acid, potassium permanganate, hydrogen peroxide and stirring, washing the mixture with nitric acid, centrifugally washing with deionized water and drying obtained solution to obtain oxidized graphite, dispersing oxidized graphite in distilled water to obtain yellowish brown graphene dispersion liquid and then centrifuging to remove unexposed oxidized graphite and partial impurities. USE - The method is useful for preparing multielement co-doped graphene, which is useful in electrochemical energy storage, sensor, biological carrier, catalyst and other fields. ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple, controllable and economical preparation of multielement co-doped graphene with large specific surface area and excellent dispersibility and quality, in an environmentally-friendly manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation method of multielement co-doped graphene involves weighing 0.1-5 g graphite powder and 0.05-5 g sodium nitrate and evenly mixing, then adding 3-100 ml concentrated sulfuric acid and uniformly stirring under ice water bath condition, again adding 0.5-20 g potassium permanganate and stirring for 0.5-5 hours, then adding 1-10 wt.%, 10-500 ml concentrated sulfuric acid and stirring at room temperature for 1-10 days, then adding 0.5-20 ml hydrogen peroxide and stirring until the solution has no bubble, washing the mixture with 5-10 wt.% nitric acid 2-4 times, then washing with 1-5 wt.% nitric acid 2-3 times, centrifugally washing with deionized water to pH value of 7 and drying obtained solution at normal temperature of 25 degrees C to obtain oxidized graphite, dispersing oxidized graphite in distilled water to obtain yellowish brown graphene dispersion liquid and then centrifuging at speed of 10000 rpm for 30 minutes to remove unexposed oxidized graphite and partial impurities, mixing oxidized graphite dispersion liquid with dopant and stirring, adding mixed solution to hydrothermal reactor, carrying out hydrothermal reaction at 150-200 degrees C for 1-48 hours, washing obtained samples, and freeze-drying. The weight ratio of graphite oxide and dopant is 10:1-100:1.
