▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Graphene oxide quantum dot (GO QD). USE - The additive is useful: as a pour point depressant for crude oils (claimed); and for improving the flow properties of crude oils. ADVANTAGE - The additive: is easier to synthesize and readily scalable on industrial scale; can be prepared by a simple two stage process which is less time consuming, requires less materials which are cheap and easily available, helps in reducing the complexities in mass production of chemicals; adopts raw materials required for the synthesis are easily available; and is not cost intensive; saves the project costs; and reduces the storage space requirements, especially which is a concern in offshore oilfield facilities. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing GO QD, comprising subjecting dispersion of graphene oxide to sonication, then adding hydrogen peroxide to the dispersion, and autoclaving to obtain the product which is centrifuged to obtain GO QD pour point depressant.
