NOVELTY - Method for preparing iron oxide/folded graphene film material by mixing anhydrous ferric trichloride and graphite using molten salt method to prepare second-order graphite intercalated compound, oxidizing the second-order graphene intercalated compound to obtain oxygen-containing group layer and ferric trichloride alternate intercalated graphite material, stripping the oxygen-containing group layer to obtain ferric trichloride intercalated graphene oxide which is dispersed in water, and carrying out suction filtration to form a membrane, immersing the membrane in a hydrogen peroxide solution, and taking out the ferric chloride/folded graphene oxide thin film after the reaction is ended, immersing the ferric trichloride/folded graphene oxide thin film in an alkaline solution for reaction, carrying out suction filtration and drying to obtain the ferric hydroxide/folded graphene oxide thin film, and treating at high temperature in a protective gas atmosphere. USE - Method for preparing iron oxide/folded graphene film material. ADVANTAGE - The method generates large amount of wrinkles, has universality and uniformity, reduces damage of the structure of the graphene sheet layer, reduces the agglomeration of graphene sheet layer and iron oxide particles, requires low equipment, and is simple and suitable for industrial or laboratory operation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for preparing iron oxide/folded graphene film material involves (i) mixing anhydrous ferric trichloride and graphite using molten salt method to prepare second-order graphite intercalated compound, oxidizing the second-order graphene intercalated compound using oxidizing agent and concentrated acid to obtain oxygen-containing group layer and ferric trichloride alternate intercalated graphite material, (ii) adding oxygen-containing group layer and ferric trichloride alternating intercalated graphite to an aqueous solution for ultrasonic treatment, stripping the oxygen-containing group layer to obtain ferric trichloride intercalated graphene oxide which is dispersed in water, and carrying out suction filtration to form a membrane, (iii) immersing the membrane in a hydrogen peroxide solution, and taking out the ferric chloride/folded graphene oxide thin film after the reaction is ended, (iv) immersing the ferric trichloride/folded graphene oxide thin film in an alkaline solution for reaction, carrying out suction filtration, and naturally drying to obtain the ferric hydroxide/folded graphene oxide thin film, and (v) treating ferric hydroxide/folded graphene oxide thin film at high temperature in a protective gas atmosphere.
