NOVELTY - A method of manufacturing a monolayer purple membrane chip including forming a graphene oxide-oxidized avidin bridge on the substrate. Purple membrane is linked to the substrate through the graphene oxide-oxidized avidin bridge. The purple membrane covered chip is subsequently rinsed in a microfluidic assembly to achieve monolayer fabrication.
