NOVELTY - The preparation of graphene/carbon nanotubes composite aerogel involves oxidizing carbon nanotubes with oxidant, mixing graphene oxide, oxidized carbon nanotubes and reducing agent, reacting to obtain hydrogel, mixing hydrogel with reinforcing solution to obtain reactant, and drying. The reinforcing solution is ethanol, methanol and aqueous ammonia. USE - Preparation of graphene/carbon nanotubes composite aerogel (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene/carbon nanotubes composite aerogel with high mechanical properties, and enhances interaction between the graphene sheets by large aspect ratio of the carbon nanotubes.
