NOVELTY - Preparing graphene/nylon reinforced and toughened composite material comprises (i) adding coupling agent into graphene slurry, dispersing graphene coupling agent, vacuum drying, (ii) adding nylon, coupling agent treated graphene, mixing uniformly, adding into hakemi mixer, controlling mixer chamber temperature, (iii) shearing material with high speed shearing or tableting, crushing and (iv) adding nylon, master batch, heat stabilizer and toughening agent, stirring, extruding and granulating, cooling, granulating and drying. USE - The method is useful for railway land vehicle center plate abrasion plate (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has high strength and excellent low temperature toughness, high wearing resistance, reduces the abrasion disc of core disc of railway wagon breakage rate, prolongs the service life, improves the vehicle running safety of the railway truck, graphene/nylon reinforced and toughened composite material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene/nylon reinforced and toughened composite material comprises (i) adding the coupling agent into the graphene slurry, dispersing the graphene coupling agent in the high speed cutting emulsifying machine, where the cutting speed is 2000-12000 revolutions/minute, time is 1-2 hour, then performing vacuum drying to constant weight, where the drying temperature is 80 degrees C, the weight percentage of graphene in graphene slurry solid content is 1-10 %, the adding amount of coupling agent is graphite alkene solid content is 0.5-2 % of the high-speed mixer, (ii) adding 89-99 wt.% nylon, 1-10 wt.% coupling agent treated graphene, 0.1-0.5 wt.% heat stabilizer into the rotating speed is 500-7000 revolutions/minute high mixer, mixing uniformly, adding into the hakemi mixer, controlling mixer chamber temperature is 230-280 degrees C, where the rotating speed of the rotor is 50-200 revolution/minute and the mixing time is 10-30 minutes, (iii) shearing the material with high speed shearing or tableting, crushing the material mixed into granular or sheet-shaped material with even size, as a master batch to be used and (iv) adding 1-60 wt.% nylon, 30-96 wt.% master batch, 0.1-0.5 wt.% heat stabilizer and 3-8 wt.% toughening agent, stirring at high speed in the high mixing machine, adding into the twin-screw extruder, extruding and granulating to obtain graphene/nylon reinforced and toughened composite material, controlling the screw temperature is 210-280 degrees C, rotating speed is 100-500 revolutions/minute, cooling the extruded material, granulating, drying at 90 degrees C for 4-6 hours on baking box.
