NOVELTY - Preparing light-driven self-cleaning composite filter membrane comprises adding titanium dioxide nanosheets into the alcohol solution and stirring to obtain a suspension, adjusting the pH of the suspension to 6-11, adding silane to the pH-adjusted suspension and stirring to hydrolyze the silane to obtain the first composite solution, adding graphene oxide to first composite solution and stirring to obtain second mixed solution, providing a substrate, and applying second mixed solution on substrate to prepare light-driven self-cleaning composite filter membrane. USE - The method is useful for removing pollutant in water (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method realizes titanium dioxide surface growing silicon dioxide particles, improves interlayer spacing and improves separation efficiency, obviously improves water flux of the filter membrane, improves stability of titanium dioxide photo-catalysis, is capable of repeatedly degrading the dye adsorbed on the surface of the filter membrane, improves service life of the filter membrane, excites activity, degrades organic dye absorbed on the surface of the filter membrane, has strong electro negativity oxidation graphene and titanium dioxide surface and is capable of electrostatic adsorption to the dye molecules with positive electricity.
