NOVELTY - A cathode material containing sulfur-nitrogen doped graphene comprises carbon black, polytetrafluoroethylene and sulfur-nitrogen doped with graphene. USE - Cathode material containing sulfur-nitrogen doped graphene used for lithium/thionyl chloride battery. ADVANTAGE - The cathode material has high activity and several active sites to accelerate the reduction of thionyl chloride which improves the discharge voltage and discharge capacity of the lithium/thionyl chloride battery. The cathode material in the lithium/thionyl chloride battery is stable for long period of time. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of cathode material.
