NOVELTY - The preparation method of composite photocatalyst involves dispersing citric acid in mixed solvent and then stirring, aging at 100-200 degrees C for 20-40 hours, washing using deionized water, dispersing nanorod in alcohol solvent, adding cadmium ion scavenger and then reacting for 2-5 hours, adding cadmium acetate solution and sodium sulfide solution and then reacting at 150-200 degrees C for 20-30 hours, adding nitrogen-doped graphene suspension and deionized water and then centrifuging, washing using deionized water and drying. The nanorod, nitrogen-doped graphene suspension and deionized water are used in a mass ratio of 1:0.01-0.06:30-50. USE - The method is useful for preparation of composite photocatalyst, which is useful in photocatalytic hydrogen production applications (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple preparation of composite photocatalyst with excellent catalytic activity, stability and prolonged service life.
