NOVELTY - A brake drum contains composition which consists of (in weight%) chromium (0.1-0.3), carbon (3.2-4.2), manganese (0.6-0.9), silicon (1.5-2.8), sulfur (less than 0.1), molybdenum (0.2-0.5), graphene (5-10) and remainder of iron and unavoidable impurities. USE - Brake drum is used for vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The brake drum has high abrasion resistance, thermal conductivity, heat resistance and high heat capacity, and low thermal expansion coefficient and density. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of brake drum, which involves mixing alloy powder containing chromium, carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, molybdenum, graphene and remainder of iron and unavoidable impurities, and thermoforming at 130-160 degrees C under pressure of 100-160 kg/cm2.
