NOVELTY - Preparation of graphite-modified phenolic molding plastic, involves dissolving graphene material in an organic solvent, adding tannic acid, adjusting the pH of the alkaline reaction for 12 hours under the stirring condition, heating after the completion of the reaction so as to remove the solvent and to obtain modified graphene, adding coupling agents, phenolic resin, methenamine, internal mold release agent, inorganic filler and glass fibers to the modified graphene, mixing uniformly to obtain graphene-modified phenolic molding plastic. USE - Preparation of graphite-modified phenolic molding plastic (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The chemical interaction between the graphene and phenolic resin is enhanced. The mechanical properties of molding plastics are ultimately enhanced. The preparation process is simple. The production cost of graphite-modified phenolic molding plastic is reduced. The prepared molded plastic has excellent mechanical properties, flexural strength up 200-220 MPa, impact strength up 10-12 kJ/m2 and glass transition temperature of more than 250 degrees C.
