NOVELTY - Preparing anode active material comprises providing an ammonium salt containing pentavalent vanadium and reducing agent, dissolving the ammonium salt containing pentavalent vanadium and reducing agent in water to obtain mixed solution, heating the mixed solution, reducing the ammonium salt containing pentavalent vanadium to generate vanadium dioxide, dissolving ammonium ions in water are doped into the vanadium dioxide in situ, where the anode active material is vanadium oxide doped with ammonium ions, and the structural formula is (NH4)xVO2, where x is 0.1-0.4. USE - The method is useful for preparing anode active material. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and has mild preparation condition. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) anode active material, comprising vanadium oxide doped with ammonium ions, and the structural formula is (NH4)xVO2, where x is 0.1-0.4; (2) anode material, comprising the anode active material, binder, and electronic conductive agent; (3) anode, comprising a current collector and anode film coated on the current collector, and the material of the anode film is the anode material; and (4) zinc ion battery, comprising the anode.
