NOVELTY - The method involves mixing concentrated sulfuric acid, concentrated nitric acid and graphite in a container to form solution. Potassium permanganate and hydrogen peroxide are added in the solution. The solution is filtered and washed until pH value of the solution is 5 to 7 so as to remove all kinds of ion impurities contained in the solution. An active agent is dripped into reaction solution, and graphene oxide solution is added and stirred at 500 to 1200 revolutions per minute. The reaction solution is filtered, washed and dried to obtain graphene coated sulfur particles. USE - Method for preparation of anode material for a high power high specific capacity lithium sulfur battery used in a portable electronic device, an electric vehicle and an energy storage device. ADVANTAGE - The battery has convenient operation and better material performance, and large scale industrial production. The anode material is prepared with high sulfur content, high discharge specific capacity, high power density, better cycle performance, and wide application range.
