NOVELTY - Preparation of self-healing shape memory material involves mixing 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid, ammonium persulfate and deionized water, stirring to obtain mixed solution, adding polyethylene glycol diacrylate and graphene oxide into the mixed solution, stirring in an ice bath, ultrasonically oscillating to obtain uniformly dispersed mixed solution, heating and crosslinking the mixed solution to obtain hydrogel and heat-drying. USE - Preparation of self-healing shape memory material used in smart response applications (all claimed) e.g. smart switches and biomedical materials. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, easy to popularize and suitable for large scale application, and provides shape memory material having excellent thermal response performance, near-infrared response, humidity response and self-healing performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for self-healing shape memory material, which comprises self-healing hydrogel and the shape memory material obtained by adjusting the water content of the material.
