NOVELTY - Preparing photocatalyst comprises electrospinning graphene oxide solution to obtain graphene oxide fibers, soaking graphene oxide nanofibers in zinc nitrate, zinc sulfate or zinc acetate solution, rinsing, blow drying, then soaking in sodium sulfide solution, rinsing and blow drying to obtain zinc sulfide/graphene oxide nanofibers, soaking the zinc sulfide/graphene oxide nanofibers in cadmium nitrate, cadmium sulfate or cadmium acetate solution, rinsing and blow drying, and soaking again in sodium sulfide solution, rinsing and blow drying. USE - The method is useful for preparing photocatalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method: utilizes the visible light source; accelerates the effective separation of photogenerated carriers; and improves the efficiency of photoelectric conversion.
