NOVELTY - Method for preparing graphene oxide involves dissolving agricultural and forestry byproducts or carbohydrate in sulfuric acid solution (10-100%) in mass ratio of 1:1000-1:5, subjecting the mixture to react at 0-200 degrees C for 0.5-48 hours and obtaining black product, and filtering, cleaning and drying the product and obtaining graphene oxide. USE - The method is useful for manufacturing graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and cost-effective as it utilizes cheap raw materials, and consumes less power.
