NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene oxide/polynorbornene composite material involves adding 5-norbornene-2-formyl chloride and triethylamine to anhydrous organic solvent dispersion of graphene oxide, stirring, washing, drying, obtaining norbornene-modified graphene oxide, adding Grubbs catalyst to anhydrous organic solvent dispersion of norbornene-modified graphene oxide, reacting, washing, obtaining Grubbs catalyst-modified graphene oxide, adding norbornene monomer to anhydrous organic solvent dispersion of Grubbs catalyst-modified graphene oxide, stirring, washing, and drying. USE - Preparation of graphene oxide/polynorbornene composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene oxide/polynorbornene composite material with improves surface performances of graphene oxide. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene oxide/polynorbornene composite material involves adding 5-norbornene-2-formyl chloride and triethylamine to 0.5-5 mg/mL anhydrous organic solvent dispersion of graphene oxide, stirring at 0-30 degrees C for 24-50 hours, washing, drying, obtaining norbornene-modified graphene oxide, adding 1.5-4 mg/mL Grubbs catalyst to 1-5 mg/mL anhydrous organic solvent dispersion of norbornene-modified graphene oxide, reacting at 20-40 degrees C for 10-30 minutes, washing, obtaining Grubbs catalyst-modified graphene oxide, adding 0.01-1 g/mL norbornene monomer to 1-5 mg/mL anhydrous organic solvent dispersion of Grubbs catalyst-modified graphene oxide, stirring at 20-40 degrees C for 10 minutes to 2 hours, washing, and drying. The content ratio of graphene oxide, 5-norbornene-2-formyl chloride and triethylamine is 4.25-34 g:1 mol:1.1 mol.
