NOVELTY - Reduction of graphene oxide comprises using metal hydride as reducing agent and Lewis acid as catalyst, dispersing graphene oxide in solvent according to the dispersion concentration of 0.2-4 mg/ml by magnetic stirring, high shear mixing, or ultrasonic dispersion method, adding 1-30 mM Lewis acid, stirring and dispersing, adding metal hydride according to dispersion concentration of 5-300 mM, conducting reduction reaction for 30 minutes-12 hours at room temperature, filtering, and washing by a cleaning agent until the pH is neutral, where cleaning agent is pure water. USE - Reduction of graphene oxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is highly efficient and inexpensive and has no toxicity and pollution.
