NOVELTY - Preparing graphene/spiral carbon nanotube/graphene composite filler comprises (1) mixing and dispersing graphite in strong alkali aqueous solution, (2) adding ferrous chloride aqueous solution, potassium sodium tartrate successively to solution, dispersing, stirring, filtering, washing, drying, and calcining to obtain graphite loaded with ferrous tartrate, (3) mixing graphite loaded with ferrous tartrate and citric acid in absolute ethanol to form a suspension, reacting at 60-100℃, drying and calcining to obtain graphite supporting nano-catalyst precursor, (4) placing graphite loaded with nano-catalyst precursor in quartz boat, introducing inert gas, reducing gas and carbon source in sequence to grow spiral carbon tube to product. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene/spiral carbon nanotube/graphene composite filler, which is useful in polyethylene terephthalate resin. ADVANTAGE - The graphene/spiral carbon nano tube/graphene composite filler has excellent mechanical property and conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a modified polyethylene terephthalate nanocomposite material comprising mixing graphene/spiral carbon nanotube/graphene composite filler and ethylene glycol, adding terephthalic acid and catalysts, and performing polymerization.
