NOVELTY - Preparation of reduced graphene oxide-titanium dioxide-dichromium trioxide composite material involves (a) dissolving graphene oxide in deionized water in beaker, magnetically stirring, placing the beaker in ultrasonic equipment and ultrasonically processing, (b) adding a mixture of titanium dioxide and potassium dichromate in beaker, adding deionized water to beaker, ultrasonically dispersing, and (c) dripping aqueous solution of graphene oxide into aqueous solution of titanium dioxide and potassium dichromate, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain suspension and spray-drying. USE - The method is useful for preparing reduced graphene oxide-titanium dioxide-dichromium trioxide composite material, which is useful in sodium ion batteries (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The reduced graphene oxide-titanium dioxide-dichromium trioxide composite material improves cycle stability and charge and discharge performance of sodium ion batteries. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of reduced graphene oxide-titanium dioxide-dichromium trioxide composite material involves (a) dissolving 0.5 g graphene oxide in 50 ml deionized water in 100 ml beaker, magnetically stirring at room temperature for 30 minutes, placing the beaker in ultrasonic equipment and 2 times ultrasonically processing each time for 30 minutes to obtain aqueous solution of graphene oxide, (b) adding 4 g a mixture of titanium dioxide and potassium dichromate in 300 ml beaker, adding 100 ml deionized water to beaker, ultrasonically dispersing for 30 minutes to obtain aqueous solution of titanium dioxide and potassium dichromate, (c) dripping aqueous solution of graphene oxide into aqueous solution of titanium dioxide and potassium dichromate, ultrasonically dispersing for 30 minutes to obtain suspension and spray-drying to obtain graphene oxide-titanium dioxide-dichromium trioxide black powder, and (d) placing graphene oxide-titanium dioxide-dichromium trioxide black powder in a muffle furnace, heat-treating under air atmosphere at 230 degrees C for 2 hours and cooling to room temperature. The weight ratio of titanium dioxide and potassium dichromate is 5-7:1.
