NOVELTY - Manufacture of magnetic wood involves mixing graphene sheet with distilled water to obtain a graphene solution, immersing cleaned wood in the graphene solution at 70-200 degrees C for 1-24 hours, cooling to room temperature, vacuum-drying at 20-150 degrees C for 1-48 hours to obtain graphene/wood composite material, immersing the graphene/wood composite material in an adhesive solution for 1-30 minutes, air-drying, adding manganese ferrite nanoparticles into the adhesive solution, stirring to obtain solid suspension, immersing the graphene/wood composite material in solid suspension and drying. USE - Manufacture of magnetic wood used for absorbing electromagnetic waves. ADVANTAGE - The method enables efficient manufacture of magnetic wood. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Manufacture of magnetic wood involves mixing graphite powder, potassium persulfate, phosphorus pentoxide and acidic solution, reacting the mixture at 70-200 degrees C for 1-52 hours, cooling to room temperature, adding distilled water to the reactor, maintaining for 1-24 hours to obtain mixture (a), adding acidic solution and potassium permanganate to the mixture (a) at 0-30 degrees C for 1-52 hours, adding distilled water for 1-52 hours to obtain mixture (b), adding distilled water and hydrogen peroxide to the mixture (b), stirring for 1-52 hours, adding 1-20% hydrochloric acid solution or alkaline solution, drying at 20-150 degrees C for 1-48 hours to obtain graphene oxide, placing graphene oxide in a muffle furnace at 500-1100 degrees C for 10-60 seconds to form graphene sheet, adding mixed solution containing ferric ion and a mixed solution containing manganese ion, heating at 70-200 degrees C for 1-52 hours to obtain manganese ferrite nanoparticles, mixing graphene sheet with distilled water to obtain a graphene solution, immersing cleaned wood in the graphene solution at 70-200 degrees C for 1-24 hours, cooling to room temperature, vacuum-drying at 20-150 degrees C for 1-48 hours to obtain graphene/wood composite material, immersing the graphene/wood composite material in an adhesive solution for 1-30 minutes, air-drying, adding manganese ferrite nanoparticles into the adhesive solution, stirring to obtain solid suspension, immersing the graphene/wood composite material in solid suspension for 1-30 minutes, air-drying in for 1-30 minutes, and drying at 45-200 degrees C for 1-52 hours. The adhesive solution contains adhesives components (a) and (b), and solvents (a) and (b). The adhesive component (a) is epoxy resin, polyvinyl chloride or phenolic resin. The adhesive component (b) is polyamide, ethylenediamine, triethylenetetramine or maleic anhydride. The acidic solution contains 1-99 %mass sulfuric acid or 1-99 %mass nitric acid. The mass ratio of graphite powder and phosphorus pentoxide is 1:(0.1-10). The mass ratio of graphite powder and potassium persulfate is 1:(0.1-10). The mass ratio of graphite powder and acid solution is 1:(1-1000)mL. The volume ratio of graphite powder and distilled water is 1 g:(1-1000) mL. The volume ratio of mixture (A) and the potassium permanganate is 1 mL:(0.01-10)g. The volume ratio of mixture (A) and acid solution is 1:(0.1-10). The volume ratio of mixture (A) and distilled water is 1:(0.1-10). The volume ratio of mixture (B) and distilled water is 1:(1-100). The volume ratio of mixture (B) and hydrogen peroxide is 1:(0.01-10). The concentration of mixed solution containing trivalent iron ion and divalent manganese ion is 0.01-10 mol/L. The molar ratio of salt containing divalent manganese ion and salt containing trivalent iron ion is 1:(1-20). The volume ratio of mixed solution containing trivalent iron ion salt and divalent manganese ion salt, and alkali solution is 1:(1-10). The alkali solution is aqueous sodium hydroxide solution with concentration of 0.1-10 mol/L, or 1-10 %mass aqueous ammonia solution.
