NOVELTY - The method for preparing carbon nanotube toughened carbon fiber composite core power cable, involves mixing carbon nanotubes and deionized water to semi-fluid state, extruding semi-fluid state mixture to regular semi-dry carbon nanotube discharge electrode, placing insoluble metal grid above regular semi-dry carbon nanotube discharge electrode, placing carbon fiber composite core raw material above hollow insoluble metal grid, using regular semi-dry carbon nanotube discharge electrode prepared as the negative electrode, using hollow insoluble metal grid as positive electrode, connecting plasma drive generator to positive and negative electrodes, twisting carbon fiber composite core material, starting plasma-driven generator, generating a plasma arc between positive and negative electrodes, exciting semi-dry discharge electrode to form carbon nanotube dispersed mist, heating carbon fiber composite core raw material, combining with resin, and curing. USE - Method for preparing carbon nanotube toughened carbon fiber composite core power cable used for power transmission. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare carbon nanotube toughened carbon fiber composite core power cable with excellent thermal performance, strength, and toughness, and reduces the occurrence of fine fracture of the composite core when bending and twisting.
