NOVELTY - Method of fabricating of the oil/chemical/dye sorbent pad, involves holding and joining layers of polymer membranes on all the three sides to obtain a sac like structure, where the polymer membranes are joined, filling a mixture of neutralizing agents and porous sorbent material at the bottom of the joined layers of polymer membranes adjoining all three sides with the sac like structure, distributing the mixture of neutralizing agents and porous sorbent material to form a first row which is sealed, filling the mixture of neutralizing agents and porous sorbent material next to the sealed first row of the joined layers of polymer membrane adjoining three sides, distributing the mixture of neutralizing agents and porous sorbent material to form a second row which is sealed, repeating the steps of distributing the mixture of neutralizing agents and porous sorbent material to form five rows of oil/chemical/dye sorbent pad, and sealing and joining the layers of polymer membrane. USE - The method is useful for fabricating of the oil/chemical/dye sorbent pad. ADVANTAGE - The method prepares the sorbent pads with high gravimetric sorption capacity, and is reusable for more than five cycles with efficiency drop of less than 75% over the five cycles, and does not allow any oil/chemical/dye leaching in saturated state unless subjected to threshold pressure, and ensures the absorbed oil/chemical/dye is easily extractable and useable. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method of fabricating of the oil/chemical/dye sorbent pad, involves holding and joining layers of polymer membranes on all the three sides to obtain a sac like structure, where the polymer membranes are joined by a predetermined method, filling a mixture of neutralizing agents and porous sorbent material in a predetermined quantity at the bottom of the joined layers of polymer membranes adjoining all three sides with the sac like structure, uniformly distributing the mixture of neutralizing agents and porous sorbent material to achieve predefined height of the layers of polymer membranes adjoining all three sides with the sac like structure to form a first row which is sealed by a predetermined method, filling the mixture of neutralizing agents and porous sorbent material of a predetermined quantity next to the sealed first row of the joined layers of polymer membrane adjoining three sides, uniformly distributing the mixture of neutralizing agents and porous sorbent material is to achieve predefined thickness between the layers of polymer membrane joined together to form a second row which is sealed by a predetermined method, uniformly repeating the steps of distributing the mixture of neutralizing agents and porous sorbent material to achieve predefined thickness between the layers of polymer membrane joined together to form five rows of oil/chemical/dye sorbent pad, where the rows are sealed by a predetermined method, and sealing and joining the layers of polymer membrane filled with the porous sorbent material together in four columns to compartmentalize the oil/chemical/dye sorbent pad into a small packets of 20 or more in number, and the columns are formed by sealing/joining oil/chemical/dye sorbent pad by a predetermined method, and the oil/chemical/dye sorbent pad comprises five rows and four columns, where compartmentalization of the oil/chemical/dye sorbent pad into small packets act as zones for effective holding of oils/chemicals/dyes for prevents agglomeration, small packets of the oil/chemical/dye sorbent pad which acts as zones for effective holding of oils/chemicals/dyes and prevents agglomeration, and the fabricated oil/chemical/dye sorbent pad is analyzed for gravimetric sorption capacity, efficiency, reusability and calorific value.
