NOVELTY - Manufacture of graphene involves preparing the work component, preparing a catalyst, preparing a carbon feedstock, preparing hydrogen, mixing the carbon feedstock, hydrogen and the catalyst over the work component, and warming the carbon feedstock, hydrogen and the catalyst, and maintaining the pressure inside the chamber between 1-800 Torr to make the catalyst react with the carbon feedstock and hydrogen so as to catalyze the decomposition of carbon feedstock to generate a carbon atoms, and carbon atoms form the graphene layers on the insulated surface of the work component. USE - Manufacture of graphene used for forming graphene layers e.g. monolayer graphene films and multilayer graphene films on insulated surface of work component (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables economical manufacture of graphene for forming uniform and excellent quality graphene layers on the surface of work component. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Manufacture of graphene involves preparing the work component, preparing a catalyst having a gasiform transition metal element, preparing a carbon feedstock, preparing hydrogen, mixing the carbon feedstock, hydrogen and the catalyst over the work component, the flow rate of the catalyst is 4-1200 sccm, and warming the carbon feedstock, hydrogen and the catalyst to 200-1200 degrees C, and maintaining the pressure inside the chamber between 1-800 Torr to make the catalyst react with the carbon feedstock and hydrogen so as to catalyze the decomposition of carbon feedstock to generate a carbon atoms, and carbon atoms form the graphene layers directly on the insulated surface of the work component.
