NOVELTY - Surface modification of abutment involves soaking alkali-treated abutment in aqueous solution of 3-aminopropyl trimethoxysilane, reacting ultrasonically for a period of time, placing in an aqueous solution of graphene oxide soak for a period of time, drying naturally, soaking the resulting mixture in aqueous solution of minocycline hydrochloride for a period of time. USE - Surface modification of abutment. ADVANTAGE - The method improves the antimicrobial properties and cell surface compatibility of abutment surface due to the formation of a modified layer of the graphene oxide-loaded minocycline hydrochloride on the abutment surface by using graphene oxide sterilization.
