▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Graphene covalent grafting thiazole salt catalyst (I) are new. USE - (I) are useful as catalyst in the process of catalyzing condensation reaction of benzoin to synthesize azoin compounds (claimed). ADVANTAGE - (I) have high stability and large specific surface area, and excellent compatibility with organic aldehyde compounds, high catalytic activity; has no obvious loss of catalytic activity, and is suitable for large-scale production requirements. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Graphene covalent grafting thiazole salt catalyst of formula (I) are new. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparation of (I); and (2) use of (I) as a catalyst in the process of catalyzing condensation reaction of benzoin to synthesize azoin compounds comprising reacting aldehyde compounds R1C(=O)H and R2C(=O)H in presence of (I) to obtain azoin compounds R1-C(=O)-CH(OH)-R2. R1 and R2 = hydrocarbon groups including saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon groups, unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon groups or aryl groups.
