NOVELTY - Producing core-shell composite, comprises (a) preparing an active material paste by mixing hydrophobic particles and alcohol; (b) preparing a spray solution by mixing the active material dough with hydrophilic graphene based on an aqueous solvent; and (c) spray-drying the spray solution to prepare a core-shell composite coated with the hydrophilic graphene on the surface of the hydrophobic particles. USE - The core-shell composite is useful for electrodes in secondary batteries. ADVANTAGE - The core-shell composite: has improved efficiency, electrical conductivity, structural stability, surface stabilization and cycle characteristics; maintains high capacity while improving reversibility of batteries; prevent layer separation; can be mass-produced in simpler process; suppress side reactions; provides high capacity, long lifespan, and high stability electrochemical properties to batteries; and promotes performance of batteries. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for core-shell composite comprising hydrophobic particles disposed as cores; and hydrophilic graphene coated on the outside of the hydrophobic particle and disposed as a shell.
