NOVELTY - A graphite cathode material comprises graphite material as core which is coated with a layer of a electroconductive film containing pyrolytic lignin carbon and graphene network. The mass of the electroconductive film is 0.03-8 %mass with respect to content of graphite cathode material. USE - Graphite cathode material is used for lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphite cathode material has excellent conductivity and cycle characteristics, and reduced irreversible capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of graphite cathode material.
