ADVANTAGE - Heavy metal degreasing modified walnut shell filter simplifies sewage treatment technology as it is capable of removing the lipid and heavy metal in sewage, reduces sewage treatment cost, enhances sewage treatment efficiency, wear resistance, pressure resistance, also has filtering material of high hardness, high toughness, easy regeneration, long replacement cycle and low cost and is also not easy to block. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for heavy metal degreasing modified walnut shell filter preparation which involves (A) selecting and taking the walnut raw materials for machine processing separation, filtering the firewood impurities and removing walnut shell by using insect-biting; (B) sterilizing walnut shell filter with sterilized sodium hypochlorite sterilizing liquid and washing with distilled water; (C) drying and crushing the product obtained using crushing machine for crushing; (D) polishing, degreasing and washing, using roller polishing machine for removing convex surface to make the surface roughness not more than Ra0.8; (E) steaming and washing using washing machine, followed by impregnation using an aqueous solution of chitosan for dipping, then after degreasing in dryer, again sterilizing with ultraviolet irradiation; (F) screening of a particle size of 1-1.8 millimetre walnut shell powder; (G) mixing powdered walnut shell and graphene oxide powder simultaneously to the V-blender and stirring; (H) adding crosslinking agent and deionized water at 50-80 degrees C, where lower crosslinking temperature is 3-3.5 hours; (I) filtering and washing the liquid phase with anhydrous ethanol until it becomes neutral, drying at 100-140oC? for 1-3 hours; and (J) obtaining finished product by using vibration ((Sieve brush / broom brush)) and selecting particle diameter according to the requirement of filter material.
