NOVELTY - Preparation of composite material involves expanding the expanded graphite at a high temperature to obtain a graphite worm, slicing the obtained graphite worm in deionized water, homogenizing the mixture to obtain a graphene slurry, freeze-drying using freeze dryer to obtain a graphene powder, dissolving nickel chloride hexahydrate having concentration of 0.05-0.2 mol% in deionized water to form a solution, adding obtained graphene powder and uniformly stirring to obtain a dispersion, adding thiourea to the dispersion and stirring to obtain a mixture, placing the mixture in a PTFE reactor equipped with a microwave reactor and magnetic stir bar, reacting, washing the product several times with deionized water, drying, and distributing uniformly on the surface of graphene sheet layer with a specific surface are of 150-520 m2/g. USE - Preparation of composite material for supercapacitor electrode for measuring constant current charge/discharge test (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The process prepares electrode material with high efficiency, simple process. The electrode is safe and environmentally-friendly. The electrochemical test data of the composites shows that the prepared supercapacitor electrodes has small impedance, high specific capacitance with strong cycle stability.
