NOVELTY - A graphene/silica composite is manufactured by producing graphene oxide aqueous dispersion which disperses graphene oxide to water, mixing graphene oxide aqueous dispersion and tetraethyl orthosilicate to produce graphene oxide/silica composite by sol-gel reaction, and reducing graphene oxide/silica composite. USE - Manufacture of graphene/silica composite for use as electroconductive material for conductive thin film, electrode of dye-sensitized solar battery, electric charge collection layer for organic thin-film solar cells, and electrode of electrolytic capacitor. ADVANTAGE - The graphene/silica composite has excellent mechanical strength and heat resistance and is low cost. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for graphene/silica composite.
