NOVELTY - Preparation of skull shape composite involves modifying surface of polyetheretherketone (PEEK) by cleaning, polishing polyetheretherketone, forming hydroxy group on surface by plasma injection using water vapor as plasma source where argon gas is ionized and pressure of vacuum chamber is 1x 10-2 to 1x 10-3 Pa, performing sulfonation modification of graphene oxide fiber by membrane concentration method to form graphene oxide dispersion having concentration of 8-10 g/L, coagulating with ethanol solution of acetic acid to form fiber having diameter of 100-500 mu m and fiber length of 1-10 mm, sulfonating graphene oxide fiber with para-aminobenzenesulfonic acid in solution of ethanol and dehydrating agent, in-situ grafting sulfonated graphene oxide fibers to hydroxylated modified polyetheretherketone and subjecting to hot-press injection molding grafted polyetheretherketone and polyetheretherketone into shape of skull component. USE - Preparation of skull shape composite (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method adjust the content of graphene oxide fibers to produce composite material with strength and elastic modulus can reaches matching degree of mechanical property of human bone. The composite material has high strength, high modulus, hardness and high thermal deformation temperature.
