▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Nitric oxide-releasing 3-dimensional (3D) printing composition comprises: 0.3-10 wt.% at least one nitric oxide donor; 70-95 wt.% at least one polymer; and 3-10 wt.% at least one catalyst; or 0.1-10 wt.% at least one viscosity modifier. USE - The composition is useful for manufacturing a nitric oxide-releasing medical device. ADVANTAGE - The composition: is substantially free of a UV initiator; provides antimicrobial and/or antithrombus effects by releasing nitric oxide in the presence of moisture; free of a UV initiator but contain at least one viscosity modifier; and is uniform within the printed device. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) manufacturing a nitric oxide-releasing medical device, comprising loading an appropriate amount of the composition onto an ink cartridge of a 3D printer, receiving or retrieving a 3D model of a medical device with a printing parameter setting, where the parameter setting defines a concentration of the composition for an assigned region of the medical device and printing a nitric oxide-releasing medical device with the 3D-printer; (2) a nitric oxide-releasing medical device manufactured by the method; and (3) manufacturing (M2) a nitric oxide-releasing medical device, comprising loading an appropriate amount of the composition onto an ink cartridge of a cold extruder, pushing the composition through a die, where the die is selected based on a shape of the nitric oxide-releasing medical device and manufacturing the device with a fixed cross-sectional profile.
