NOVELTY - A nano-composite material comprises hydrated iron oxide-supported nitrogen-doped graphene. USE - Nano-composite material used in electrochemical detection and analysis of nitrite (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nano-composite material is manufactured efficiently with high productivity by simple method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A nano-composite material comprises hydrated iron oxide-supported nitrogen-doped graphene of formula: Fe1.833(OH)0.5O2.5/NG. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of nano-composite material, which involves subjecting natural graphite powder to Hummer's method to obtain solid graphite oxide, ultrasonically dispersing solid graphite oxide in ethanol, adding ferrous chloride tretahydrate, uniformly stirring, adding ammonia and water, performing hydrothermal reaction at 160-200 degrees C, washing and drying.
