NOVELTY - Producing reduced graphene oxide, comprises: adding graphene oxide to container; and adding electrically active bacteria to the container, where reduced graphene oxide is produced a period of time after both the graphene oxide and electrically active bacteria are added to the container by an interaction of the electrically active bacteria and the graphene oxide. USE - The method is useful for producing reduced graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The method avoids the use of these dangerous materials of conventional reduction techniques and utilizes the electrically active bacteria that avoids the use of toxic precursors or explosive materials or high temperatures as compared to conventional methods. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for composition of matter, comprising reduced graphene oxide and electrically active bacteria.
