NOVELTY - Adhesive composition comprises a rubber latex, a carbohydrate and a filler including a carbon-based filler and/or a silicate-based filler. The carbohydrate comprises at least one monosaccharides, at least one disaccharides and/or at least one oligosaccharide. USE - The adhesive composition is useful as a wallpaper paste and for noise reduction and thermal insulation (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The adhesive composition: exhibits thermal insulation and soundproofing effect of the building which becomes more energy efficient and requires less additional heating and cooling, which result in less use of natural resources, smaller amounts of emissions, better regulatory compliance; and is economical and environmentally-friendly.
